About Us
Hello We are a fun friendly talkative & active family of 4 Kevin Cathy Caoimhe & Shauna Caoimhe is 17yrs old and Shauna is 14yrs. We also have a small dog called Rusty who is really friendly. We are a non judgemental family that respects all religions cultures race abilities & values. Your safety, wellbeing, improving your English, and having fun is of utmost important to us. Our home is a 5 bedroomed house 2 sitting rooms 3 bathrooms kitchen with front & back garden. As a family we enjoy shopping, board games, playing cards, cycling, picnic's( weather permitting ) cultural day trips, movie night talking cooking & baking together. I myself work in childcare and have been garda vetted and have all appropiate child protection courses completed. Caoimhe is in her final year at secondary school and Shauna is completing her 3rd year. We are small beef farmers so this keeps us busy. I myself love to grow summer bedding plants and I make up hanging baskets and window boxes. Guests will have their own bedroom & bathroom. We provide free wifi. We also provide private regular updates on how your son/daughter is progressing along with photos of their stay with us. We as a family enjoy meeting new people and learning about their cultures lifestyle hometown and country. But most importantly welcoming you into our home and become part of our family for the duration of your stay as well as a long lasting friendship. As a family we love visiting different countries and experiencing their cultures customs & attractions. We live in a rural village and we are a very close knit community where we all help each other. It is a beautiful small safe village with beautiful views with friendly people and many beautiful attractions. Our local town is 10 minute by car from our house. Our local schools are in our local town and my girls attend one of them It is a fantastic school with excellent teachers and amazing sports facilities. Students can also benefit from extra activities e.g. musicals, choir, French trips, shows the list is endless. This year Their school participated in cycle against suicide which was a learning curve for all students and parents and taught us all about the importance of looking after our mental health. Activities and extra curricular activities like (Irish dancing, Hip Hop ,bowls, basketball, football, choir, cycling, running club and various gyms and circuit classes) can be planned around your needs and can be arranged before or when you arrive. As this is your Irish experience we want to make everything as perfect as we can for you so that you'll have an enjoyable stay with us. Looking forward to meeting you.

We live very close to the local GAA pitch where there is ongoing training and matches been held. My oldest daughter is a member of local swimming pool and gym. We will do our utmost best to accommodate our student and organise activity's and hobbies to suit them.

- About Our House : We live in a beautiful picturesque village in County Monaghan. We live approx. 6km from nearest town. We live in a 5 bedroom house, 2 sitting room, Study room and 4 bathrooms and a kitchen. We have front lawn and back lawn and also a patio area so we can enjoy BBQ in good weather. I have 2 glass houses where I enjoy growing flowers and Vegetables. We live in a very close knit community where we all care for and help each other. We have close family living nearby so my kettle is always on the boil for a cuppa.
